This design combines the balanced torque reaction forces of precision planetary gears and their ability to accept modern high speed servomotor inputs, with the high torsional stiffness, high torque and high overload capacity of a cycloidal speed reducer output giving an extremely compact, highly dynamic, co-axial or right-angle drive unit.
Backlash is zero and remains so throughout the lifetime of the gearbox.
An exceptional torque multiplication factor is achieved together with
an intermittent peak torque capability of up to 24,000Nm. Centa Zerogears
are ideal for small precise angular, repetitive forward/reverse indexing
movements.
