All eleven spiral bevel gear units use a standardised modular cube - allowing the compact external dimensions to remain the same irrespective of the reduction ratio. Universal mounting on any of the six faces is permissible. Low backlash units are offered in most sizes.
Hypoid bevel and additional planetary reductions fitted within the standard
cube extend the ratio range to 300:1. Options include speed increasing
and reversing gears, multiple driven shafts or hollow output sleeve. Input
can be free shaft or plug-in motor adapter.
