Power transmission designers are increasingly turning to planetary gear configurations
in place of conventional speed reducers for a wide variety of industrial
applications, particularly where installation space is limited.
Modern gear materials and advanced tooth profile technology allied with multiple contact
planetary gearing ensures that the Centa Planetgear has both diametrically
compact and axially ultra-slim reduction stages - resulting in a modular
cost-saving design. Due to its compact size, special attention has been
given to heat dissipation and lubrication relative to service factors for
various operating duties.
Both co-axial and right-angle configurations are available - foot, flange, or shaft-mounted -
plus a further seven special application variants with up to twenty sizes in several model types.
Drive connections may be external/internal spline, keyway or hollow shaft.
