Our ability to offer customised solutions using combinations of standard units is clearly demonstrated by the Centa Cyplan industrial processor drive. Unusually, since the motor drive speed is relatively low, The cycloidal unit acts as the primary reduction.
The lower cost planetary gear gives the output reduction, whilst remaining
protected from both excessive high inertia starting/operating loads and
the cycloidal units ability to withstand massive overloads by a torque
limiter situated between the two reduction units. The combined unit provides
a compact, co-axial drive with low installation weight at a competitive
cost.
