Couplings icon with border.jpgNice name check on Facebook for Centa Transmissions, who are sponsoring Alan Priddy's Team Britannia round the world surface record bid in 2015.

Centa supplied the two shafts that directly connect the diesel engines to the Castoldi Jets and eliminate the need for a gearbox. Each unit measures 16 inches long, with a 4 inch diameter shaft and 8 inch diameter flanges. Each shaft weighs 80kgs and takes two people to lift.
