Since its formation in 1970 CENTA Antriebe has mainly concentrated on solving application problems involving flexible couplings and especially those involved with torsional vibration.

More than 6 million CENTA couplings have been installed successfully, many in difficult applications, all over the world. This huge number of applications has provided rich application experience on which to draw when new problems are encountered and this invaluable background is behind each customer-tailored drive proposal made.

This same experience has shown that a wide variety of different coupling designs are necessary to solve the widely differing problems that occur. The end result is the CENTA range of couplings which has systematically been developed and proven in service to probably become the most complete range available on the market for solving problems in the torque range up to around 200.000 Nm.

Product support has grown over the years on an international scale through the development of a worldwide network of manufacturers and distributors involving both independent and associated companies in 40 countries.
